Welcome to Offbeat Thesis. My mantra here is the internet is always wrong.

That’s because the internet is always wrong. It’s always wrong because the most clever response is the one that holds the day on the internet, but the most clever response is rarely actually the truth. Reality is boring and lacks pithiness.

While I will ostensibly be talking about a specific subject, a piece of media, an internet trend, a political take, etc., the topic of each of my essays is about the things I think the internet is getting wrong. As a result, don’t expect me to respond to every iteration of the same topic.

Finally, I’m not doing the content creator thing. I’m not saying anything to gain views or build a stable audience. I will post when I have something to say. No sooner, no later. I won’t comment on everything, and I won’t post something just for the sake of posting.

My longterm goal is to send out each piece as a newsletter, post a short video as a quick summary and preview, and convert each essay into video, so as to provide people each essay in a format that they can better consume, but they’ll be released in that order. Until then, keep an eye on my socials for when I post something here.
